Snow on its way to River Country; Around an inch has fallen in Lincoln
Lincoln has already seen an inch of snow as of 11 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service office in Valley has added Otoe, Johnson and Nemaha Counties to the winter weather advisory that is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday. Cass, Lancaster, Fremont, Mills, Page and Montgomery Counties are also included.

Meteorologists expect three to four inches in Nebraska City and Plattsmouth, two to three inches in Tecumseh and Auburn and four to six inches in Red Oak. An inch of snow already fell in Lincoln as of 11 p.m. Friday. The system was pushing east along Highway 2.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
