OMAHA, NE (Omaha World-Herald News Service) – There’s a shake-up in the leadership at Clarkson College in Omaha.
A college spokesman confirmed to the Omaha World-Herald Tuesday that college president Doctor Tony Damewood has resigned…as has president emeritus Doctor Louis Burgher.
Both resignations were announced in an e-mail sent to the college last week.
Damewood had been president at Clarkson since 2016. Burgher hand-picked Damewood to be his replacement when he stepped down after nine years as president.
No reason was given for the resignations.
College officials say dean of nursing Aubray Or-DOO-nya has taken over as interim president.
