Country star Eric Church is doubling down.
His 2019 tour will feature two nights of concerts in 18 cities.
And we get to see it first. Church’s tour will start with two shows on Jan. 18 and 19 at CHI Health Center.
The “Drink in My Hand” and “Springsteen” singer has 14 top 10 hits on Billboard’s country chart, fewer than some major country stars. But he has one of country’s biggest and most loyal fan bases.
Church also has a new album on the way. “Desperate Man” will be released Oct. 5.
Tickets to Church’s Omaha shows go on sale Oct. 5 via Ticketmaster. As usual, Church’s fan club members, the Church Choir, will get first access for seats. Ticket registration for fan club members starts Friday.
B103 (103.1 FM) listeners will have a chance to win tickets to both shows. Stay tuned for more details.
Church has a long history with performances in Nebraska and Iowa. He’s played small and large venues here since his early days, which included tour stops at Whiskey Tango and the Whiskey Roadhouse. Church filmed his “Drink In My Hand” video at Stir Cove, and several tracks from live releases were recorded in Omaha and Lincoln.
“I’ll never forget you, Omaha, Nebraska,” Church said to fans at an Omaha concert.
