Fairbury Blows Out Rival Falls City Behind Seven Wasserman Touchdowns

FAIRBURY – This year’s senior class at Fairbury had never beaten the Falls City Tigers. They made sure to get one before graduation.

In a huge performance, Adam Wasserman helped lift Fairbury to an undefeated start. The Jeffs topped Falls City, 68-14.

Wasserman finished his day with 280 total yards and seven touchdowns. Jacob Johnson also added 93 yards on the ground.

The Fairbury defense jumped on the Tigers early and allowed only 142 yards of total offense.

Fairbury is now 3-0 on the season and hosts Auburn next week.

Falls City drops to 1-2 and will host Lincoln Christian in week three.
