It’s Not Fireworks Forever In Auburn

AUBURN – It’s not fireworks forever in Auburn.

The city amended its ordinance Monday to set an 11 p.m. shut down time June 24 to July 3 and midnight on the Fourth of July.

Fireworks can be used beyond those times by permission of the mayor or fire chief.

Previously, the city ordinance did not specify a daily end time, so the sheriff handled complaints with a disturbing the peace investigation.
