SYRACUSE – The Karl and Wealtha Nelson Family Foundation has contributed $10,000 to benefit the new hospital construction at Syracuse.
Susie Wirth of the Nelson Foundation said the new Community Memorial Hospital will benefit all of Otoe County.
Laura Lea Fossenbarger, Community Memorial Hospital Foundation director, credited the generosity of the foundation.
Fossenbarger: “With serving a 10,000 patient population, we are happy to have them as a partner moving forward in changing lives and making a difference in the many communities we serve.”
Also attending the check presentation were CMH Corporate President Jerry Siefken, Project Superintendent Bill Boehm, Project Manager Justin Hall and CHM Foundation vice chairman David Zahn.
The new hospital is slated for opening in early November 2018.
