Nemaha Commissioners Consider Weeds, Bailiff and Duck Creek Siren

AUBURN – The Nemaha County Board is scheduled to meet at 8 a.m. on July 12 at the courthouse.

The agenda includes a noxious weed report from Paul Moyer of the state Department of Agriculture and discussion about brush and trees with Ed Bredemeier.

Commissioners will begin work on the 2018 road budget at 10 a.m.

An interlocal agreement between Pawnee, Richardson, Johnson and Gage counties to share of court bailiff position will be considered.

EMA Director Renee Critser will seek authorization to apply for a grant to install an outdoor warning siren at the Duck Creek lake project.

Commissioners will also review architect Jerry Berggren’s July 5 courthouse visit.
