Operation Bale Lift is requesting flatbed trailers to haul bales from generous Iowa farmer

NORFOLK, NE  – A group of individuals is working on transporting up to 20,000 corn stalk bales from a generous donor in Iowa, to farmers in need in Nebraska.

Tom Preister of Cornlea, NE. says he and a group consisting of Keith Hemmer and Tom Clinch of Norfolk, are looking for individuals with large flatbed trailers to make a trip to the Des Moines, Iowa area to haul the bales back to Nebraska.

Their intention is to provide the bales to feeders who are in dire need of feeding their livestock. They are working on drop points where the bales will be available. More information will be provided as the plan comes together.
