AUBURN, Neb. – The Peru State College football team has added another Auburn High School senior to their 2018 recruiting class.

Robert Liles signed his letter of intent to play for the Bobcats on Friday. He joins fellow Bulldogs Michael Lombardi and Taten Minton, both who signed to play football at Peru State on Dec. 18.

Liles played on the offensive and defensive lines for head coach Tony Janssen. He played in 19 total games his junior and senior seasons. He finished with 114 career tackles, including 67 total tackles last fall.

Auburn finished the 2017 season 8-2 and qualified for the Class C1 state playoffs before losing to eventual runner-up Boone Central/Newman Grove in the first round.
