Police Issue “Shocking Challenge” For No Shave November

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City police are making a last-week surge for No Shave November and are issuing a challenge to city commissioners to benefit St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.

Police will post final week photos at the police station and at select locations around town with collection jars until Dec. 8.

They have also issued a challenge to Nebraska City Parks Commissioner Patrick Wehling and Street Commissioner Vic Johns.

If police are able to raise $2,000 for St. Jude’s, the city commissioners would volunteer for what police call “a shocking good time.”

Police photos are posted at Speedee Mart, El Portal and Arbor Mart.
