Sheriff Deputy Warns Of Farmstead, Construction Site Burglaries

SYRACUSE – Otoe County Chief Deputy Mike Holland told the Syracuse City Council Wednesday  that farmsteads and construction sites need to be on the alert.

Deputy Mike Holland said there have been several burglaries in the Otoe County area resulting in the theft of thousands of dollars of tools. He said a welder, machinery batteries and battery chargers have been stolen.

Deputy Holland said we are in the days of Facebook swap selling and urged people to report any suspicious activity to the sheriff’s office.
