Syracuse Orders Design For New Pool Bathhouse

SYRACUSE – Syracuse Aquatic Center received a large contribution from the city of Syracuse at Wednesday night’s meeting.

$75,000 will be paid to JEO to create a planning study, schematic design, cost estimate, and do all work for design Development and Construction.

Several events are planned this summer to help raise money towards the bathhouse the first event will be a kickball tournament April 27 at the Syracuse complex also to be announced a softball tournament and a volleyball tournament.

Papillion sanitation was on the agenda due to service complaints over the last month . Papillion Sanitation stated they have had several struggles with garbage pickup due to snow and ice several customers have been unhappy and voiced their opinion to the city. Councilwoman Laramie Werner reached out to Papillion Sanitation who informed her that all garbage will be picked up this week.

The family of Bob Bruns of Syracuse wishes to make a donation of a Pergola to be constructed by the Legion Field at the Syracuse sports complex.
