NEBRASKA CITY – The Veterans Memorial Buiding in Nebraska City will be open over Memorial Day weekend for an encore presentation of the military tribute to 800.
Ted Beilman assembled the personal histories of veterans from World War I to present and his framed displays will be featured from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday through Monday.
At 1 p.m. each day, a quilt of valor ceremony will take place sponsored by the Blue Star Mothers.
The Memorial Day ceremony at Wyuka Cemetery is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Monday. It will be followed by wreath layings at the Otoe County War Memorial and riverfront.
A World War I exhibit and vintage flags will be displayed at Arbor Lodge May 26-28.
