WILBER – Going undefeated in the regular season has become commonplace for the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines. On Friday night, they won their 33rd straight regular season contest, dating back to October 11th, 2013.
After building a 21-0 lead at the half, the Wolverines were able to put away Shelby-Rising City in the second half behind a one yard touchdown from Hunter Cerveny with under 15 seconds left in the third.
Wilber-Clatonia went on to win 28-0 to improve to 4-0, and have now won 39 out of their last 41 games overall.
They host HTRS next week.
The Huskies drop to 1-3 and travel to Sutton.
