The big one is in the boat.

Lakeville (Minnesota) North offensive tackle Bryce Benhart — all 6-foot-8, 305 pounds of him — committed to Nebraska Sunday night, picking the Huskers over Wisconsin, Michigan and more. Benhart twice visited NU, most recently taking the Huskers’ 53-28 win over Minnesota.

Ranked as the No. 187 player in the country according to 247 Sports composite service, Benhart could provide immediate depth to NU’s offensive line next season. 247 Sports’ own service rates Benhart as the No. 65 player in the nation, while ESPN has him as the No. 250 prospect in the country.

The Huskers now have three offensive tackles in the 2019 class – Benhart, Matthew Anderson and Michael Lynn.
