14 Candidates For Plattsmouth School Board Trimmed to Eight

PLATTSMOUTH – Fourteen candidates for the Plattsmouth School Board were narrowed to eight on Tuesday.

They are Cory Wehrbein, 959; Bob Fuller, 580; Max Muller, 576; Steve Barr, 554; Chris Smith, 465; Heather Weaver, 457; Tabitha Foster, 406; Bridgett Miller, 368; and Randy Winters.

Ron Nolte won Cass County for public service commission with 44 percent of the total.

Totals in Cass County were Nolte, 982; Watermeier, 950; and Scott Smathers, 274. Watermeier won the district total for the Republican nomination.

For county board district 2, incumbent Janet McCartney prevailed with 68 percent of the vote.

She had 434 votes compared to 199 for Jim Engelkemier.

Robert Clements received 51 percent of the votes to claim victory in Cass County for state Legislature. He got 2,011 votes, compared to 1,392 for Susan Lorence and 491 votes for James Bond.
