3 people arrested in connection with pot-growing operation in SW Iowa

Two Iowans and a Missouri woman have been arrested in southwest Iowa in connection with an in-house, marijuana-growing operation, authorities said.

The Page County Sheriff’s Office said authorities entered a home in Coin, Iowa, around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and arrested the three people.

Authorities said a 49-year-old Coin man, a 52-year-old Coin woman and a 63-year-old Westboro, Missouri, woman were arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance, gathering where controlled substances are unlawfully used and conspiracy.

Numerous items and illegal substances were seized during a search of the home, the Sheriff’s Office said.
