30-year-old southwest Iowa man injured when vehicle rolls in Page County

A 30-year-old southwest Iowa man was taken to an Omaha hospital in critical condition Sunday after his vehicle rolled in Page County.

Authorities said Alexander Woodruff of New Market was taken by medical helicopter to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Monday, he was listed in good condition at the hospital.

The Page County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred around 7:55 a.m. The Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched to the crash scene in a field on the east edge of Shambaugh on U.S. Highway 71.

The Sheriff’s Office said Woodruff was trapped in the wreckage of a 2001 Ford Edge.
