Another Three to Four Inches of Snow, for Beatrice

BEARICE – Add another layer of snow to what was already on the ground.

Southeast Nebraska, including the City of Beatrice, received another three to four inches of snow overnight, sending truck plows and graders out to clear streets and roads.

City of Beatrice crews were clearing major routes in the early morning hours today, once the snow finally stopped falling.

Through late Tuesday night, Hebron had received three-and-a-half inches of snow…..three inches in Milligan and Tecumseh, two inches in Carleton.

Morrowville, Kansas received about six inches of snow, one of the heaviest amounts in the area.  Several communities in Iowa received four to six inches of snow.

Southeast Nebraska is expected to see clearing skies today, but temperatures in the upper 20s.  It appears a cold shot of air will come through on Thursday, before highs Friday reach the mid-30s.
