Arkansas Man Fined $250 For Violating Nebraska Marijuana Law

NEBRASKA CITY –Michael Barnett, 30, of Arkansas was sentenced to a $250 fine and time spent in jail on an amended complaint of attempted possession of money while in violation of Nebraska’s marijuana laws.

A sheriff’s deputy stopped Barnett’s car on Highway 2 near Unadilla on Sunday. His car was searched after Barnett was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving on a suspended license. The Lead Hill, Ark., man had served four days in jail.
