NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska City man accused of kicking a woman so hard he temporarily left the imprints of his shoe on her face has been arrested again on separate charges of criminal trespassing and possessing methamphetamine and a dangerous knife.
Police were called Sunday to a Nebraska City apartment after a woman said 24-year-old Jarrett Nelson was in her residence.
Police say several knives were found in the vehicle Nelson was riding in and methamphetamine was found in a bag containing Nelson’s personal items.
His preliminary hearing on the trespassing charge is scheduled Feb. 4.
Nelson’s $75,000 bond was reduced to a $1,000 provision after his arraignment in district court. Bond on the new charges is set with a $2,500 provision.
Nelson is scheduled for arraignment Feb. 6 on charges of strangulation, domestic assault and meth for the December case.
