AUBURN – The Auburn City Council agreed Monday to seek bids to replace portions of the library roof.
Library Director Heather Koeneke said there is a leak in the area where the a new addition connects with the original roof.
A Lincoln company proposes an ice and water barrier. Ice build-up on a portion of the roof this winter caused damage.
She said the roof of the original library was shingled in 2012 and needs to be re-shingled again.
The Auburn Airport Board reports a project to replace a fuel tank. The existing tank has a leak that is contained within the double wall.
The city council also approved rehabilitation work for 702 14th St., including furnace, wiring breaker box and basement drywall.
Lavigne Construction plans to add a third bedroom, laundry room and new water lines.
