Auburn Robbery Suspect Charged With Stolen Car

AUBURN – The suspect in a Valentine’s Day robbery at Speedee Mart in Auburn has been charged in Richardson County with possession of a stolen car.

Deputies were told the convenience store had been robbed at 4 a.m. and residents reported a suspicious vehicle on a county road about two hours later. Bryant Jorn was found walking along Highway 136.

Jorn is charged with being in possession of a stolen 2009 Ford Fusion owned by Charity Guerra of Kearney, Mo., on Feb. 1.

An arrest affidavit says the Fusion was found in a parking lot near the Falls City baseball field.

Police say they were told that Jorn has been homeless and took the car so that he could return to Falls City and visit his grandpa.
