Nemaha – The Nemaha County clerk’s office said it could take until Monday to determine the winner of third district seat for the county board.
When polls closed Tuesday, both incumbent Marvin Bohling and challenger Larry Holtzman had 104 votes.
The clerk’s office says some provisional ballots are yet to be counted. Also, early voting ballots on Monday are not typically counted until election workers verify that the person did not also vote on Tuesday.
The election commissioner will canvass the ballots on Monday, May 21, and learn if the tie is broken.
