Deer Forces Motorcycle Off Of East Fourth Corso

NEBRASKA CITY – An Omaha man escaped injury, but his motorcycle was totaled in a crash after he swerved to miss a deer around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police report that 38-year-old Richard Polak was driving his Harley Davidson Cruiser on East Fourth Corso when the deer ran into his path. The motorcycle entered the ditch and plummeted about 40 feet down a hill into a tree line.
