Deputies Say Probation Search Yields Two Grams Meth

NEBRASKA CITY – Three Nebraska City residents were jailed Saturday after a probation search of the Third Street residence of David and Michele Russell.

Deputies say they knocked on the door of the house while following up on a complaint of a vehicle parked improperly in front of the house. The owner of the vehicle came out and left and deputies say another couple went out the back door.

Deputies conducted a probation search of the residence and arrested the Russells after finding suspected meth.

Court records say law enforcement was informed that 39-year-old Amy Blevins rents a room in the house.

Deputies also searched that room and report finding two grams of suspected meth and paraphernalia.

Blevins told deputies she was aware of a pipe inside of purse in the room, but said the two grams of meth did not belong to anyone in the house.
