Deputies Says Bartlett Camp Was Used To Manufacture Meth

SIDNEY – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says a meth lab was discovered Saturday at a Bartlett campground.

Officers earlier reported the arrest of 37-year—old Joshua Lanning of South Sioux City and 49-year-old Jerry Bossow of Grain Valley, Mo. They were arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen truck and trailer on Interstate 29.

An investigation led deputies to the Bartlett campground, where they discovered a 2006 Arctic Cat ATV, that had been reported stolen out of South Sioux City on Nov. 22. Deputies also found a Keystone camper that had been stolen out of Blue Springs, Mo.

The sheriff says deputies believe the campsite was being used to manufacture methamphetamine.
