COLUMBUS – Court records say Morshawn Hawkins was found guilty of felony theft, while charges for obstructing police and possession of meth were dismissed in Platte County.
An affidavit says authorities found a stolen motorcycle and 4-wheeler, that were stolen from a local resident, at Hawkins residence in Duncan. Authorities say during the investigation they found several other stolen items and meth inside Hawkins’ bedroom.
Hawkins will be sentenced for the felony theft charge on March 16th, says court documents.
Hawkins recently received another felony charge for assaulting an inmate at the Platte County Jail, and is in a misdemeanor case in county court on several other charges.
