Falls City Reviews Mental Health Partnership

FALLS CITY – The Falls City School reviewed the mental health partnership at its March 12 meeting.

Mental health professional Jamie Jacobs described the benefits of the partnership, which provides qualified support for children from birth to age 21 that experience mental health challenges.

The partnership includes the school, Falls City Community Medical Center, Johnson County Central Public Schools and the Falls City Sixpence Program.

In other action, the board accepted the resignation of 29-year middle school principal Rick Johnson, as well as 38-year fifth grade teacher Denise Kurpgeweit.
