Falls City Woman Faces New Meth Charges Prior To Sentencing

FALLS CITY – A Falls City woman who is scheduled for sentencing Oct. 9 for possession of methamphetamine will be arraigned in district court later this month on new charges.

In a plea deal, the state reduced a felony meth charge against 28-year-old Cara Cavaness to a misdemeanor.

About a month after the plea, Falls City police arrested Cavaness on a warrant and say she was found in possession of meth and morphine.

She is set for arraignment on the new charges Oct. 16.
