Gun Show Returning To Johnson American Legion

JOHNSON – American Legion Post 330 Commander Rick Moore is offering his “Pre-64” Winchester rifle for raffle to help raise funds for the legion.

He has had the Model 70 rifle in his personal collection the past 15 years and called it a nice gun for a good cause.

Moore: “I’m the legion commander here and being it’s the 100th anniversary of the Legion, I sure would hate to see it close down on my watch.”

The raffle is scheduled during the post’s annual gun show, scheduled this year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday, Feb. 2 and Sunday, Feb. 3.

The first gun show last year attracted 350 visitors on Saturday and 100 on Sunday.
