TECUMSEH – The Johnson County Board has scheduled a 9 a.m. hearing on Nov. 27 regarding the closure of a portion of 733 Road.
Highway Superintendent Matt Schardt requested a resolution to close the half mile section east of 619 Avenue, which is west of Wirth Brothers Lake.
Schardt also reported that a bridge on old Highway 50 south of Tecumseh needs repair. Commissioners asked Schardt to explore replacing the bridge.
The sewer system at the jail is also in need of repair as cast iron pipes have rusted out.
