HWY 81 south of Columbus to re-open with one lane on Monday

COLUMBUS — The Nebraska Department of Transportation will re-open Highway 81 south of Columbus to 1 lane, controlled traffic, starting at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. Officials are not allowing semi or bus traffic.

NDOT says that traffic will be controlled by a pilot car and checkpoints will be supervised by the Nebraska National Guard. Officials say no access will be allowed onto Highway 30.
