Iowa Fugitives Arrested In Otoe County

NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska state trooper arrested four fugitives on felony warrants out of Iowa in Otoe County on Monday.

Andrew Lawhon, 20, and Jonathan Duzenberry, 23, both of Centerville, Iowa, were sought on allegations of robbery at a Walmart in Ottumwa on May 18.

Employees told police that two men were stealing items. Police say store security confronted the men outside of the store, when one made a threatening gesture with a gun. The suspects left with $690 worth of merchandise.

Also arrested on warrants out of Appanoose County were Johnathan JT Gold, 19, and Becky Bentley, 37, both of Mystic, Iowa.

Each of the four waived extradition to Iowa and are scheduled for bond hearings in Otoe County on June 4.
