Lowe’s Gives Away Cleaning Supplies to Flood Victims

FREMONT, NE — When cleaning out a flooded building in the Fremont area, you’re going to need more than just a mop.

Thanks to Lowe’s, cleaning and repair items are available – and free- for flood victims.  Workers with the home improvement chain are stationed at the Fremont mall giving away buckets, gloves, cleaning chemicals and gift cards.

Stop by and Store Manager Waco Walker says you’ll also learn how to safely and efficiently make your repairs.

“We can give you recommendations about any product you would need to know, what you need to do to cover that,” Walker said.  “How do they fix it, what do they need to do – people that really aren’t familiar with that type of stuff or haven’t been through this situation, we’re here to support them and help them.”

Walker says vendors Paul Davis, Lennox, Sherwin-Williams and Valspar also joined to offer free products.
