Man Charged With Pulling Shotgun On ‘Repossession’ Driver

NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska City man was jailed last week after he allegedly pointed a gun at a man hired to repossess a vehicle.

Otoe County Judge John Steinheider set a $500 bond provision for 51-year-old Michael Adams, who is charged with terroristic threats against the tow truck driver.

Court records say Ricky Hill hooked up the vehicle to be repossessed around midday on Jan. 5  and was on the porch  talking the woman who had purchased the car, when Adams emerged with a shotgun.

In an arrest affidavit, police say Adams pushed the gun into the driver’s back when he turned to walk off the porch and pointed the gun in his direction while he disconnected the vehicle.
