Man on Motorbike Hauling Shopping Cart, Arrested During Early Hours

COLUMBUS – A man driving a stolen motorbike, and hauling a shopping cart and cargo was arrested in the early morning hours on Monday.

Columbus Police Captain Todd Thalken says an officer was on routine patrol, when they spotted a black fat tire motorbike, with no license plate, pulling a shopping cart with a dresser inside. The man was also reported to have been using a flashlight as a headlight while driving, says Thalken.

The 32-year-old man was arrested just after 1:42 a.m. for multiple charges, including possession of stolen property, and driving under suspension, according to police logs.
