AUBURN – The Nemaha County Board elected Bryan Mellage as chairman and elected Mike Hall of Nemaha as vice chairman of the board for 2019.
Mellage is a graduate of Auburn High School and has been a self-employed businessman in Nemaha County for 35 years.
Hall was elected in November on the Republican ticket with 564 votes, winning in each of five voting precincts.
The board re-appointed Mainelli Wagner as highway superintendent and Catlett Surveying as county surveyor.
The next meeting is scheduled Tuesday Jan.22.
