Meth Possession Cases Set For County Court Hearings

NEBRASKA CITY – Two new methamphetamine possession charges are scheduled for preliminary hearings in Otoe County Court.

Court records say police made contact with 24-year-old Jackson Brink after a domestic disturbance call. An arrest affidavit says a search of his backpack revealed meth and Brink produced additional meth from his pocket.

Brink was placed into emergency protective custody.

A possession charge has also been filed against 32-year-old Zachary Wise of Nebraska City.

An arrest affidavit says Wise ran from police after he was stopped on Fifth Corso and was asked about the contents of his pockets. He was soon apprehended.
