Nebraska City Man Suspected Of Shower Attack

NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska City man was jailed early Friday morning after an assault in a shower.

24-year-old Michael Printz told investigators he saw an unfamiliar pickup when he arrived at his girlfriend’s residence and brought a baseball bat into the house where the alleged victim  was taking a shower.

Printz is accused of hitting the man with the bat and pulling a pistol to order him out of the house.

Printz told sheriff’s deputies he was acting self defense. He said the alleged victim punched him and put him in a choke hold before leaving the house with the bat.

An arrest affidavit says there was blood on the bat, but the victim refused medical treatment.
