Nebraska City Women Charged With Meth Distribution

NEBRASKA CITY – Two Nebraska City women were arrested Wednesday for suspicion of distribution of methamphetamine.

Nebraska City police responded to a disturbance at a Central Avenue apartment and later obtained a search warrant for the apartment to conduct a narcotics investigation.

Police arrested apartment residents, 46-year-old Tracy Crook Nelson and 53-year-old Jamie McGinnis.

Court records say a search of the apartment yielded meth in small plastic bags and a digital scale with white powder.

Bond was set for the women at $50,000. Preliminary hearings are scheduled in Otoe County Court on March 25.
