Nemaha County Board Buys New Grader

AUBURN – The Nemaha County Board ended 2017 with the purchase of a new road grader.

Commissioner Bryan Mellage moved to purchase a 2018 CAT motor grader for $238,500 from Nebraska Machinery with one or two graders offered for trade in.

That motion failed for lack of a second.
The board then voted to purchase the grader with one grader offered for trade or sale.
The board also offered Richard Andrew an application form to seek authority to irrigate from a low water crossing.

Flood plain permits were issued for Merlyn and Lois Bender and for Thomas Reuter for agricultural buildings.
