Nemaha County Meth Cases Draw Fine, Probation

AUBURN – Joshua Tolar, 37, of Hallville, Texas, was fined $300 and sentenced to two days in jail for attempted possession of methamphetamine on March 4.

A Nemaha County sheriff’s deputy arrested Tolar following a traffic stop on Highway 75.

AUBURN – Mindy Scott, 53, of Omaha was sentenced Monday to probation for possession of methamphetamine on April 16.

A Nemaha County sheriff’s deputy arrested Scott on a Douglas County warrant and reported finding glass pipes in her purse that field tested for meth.

AUBURN – 20-year-old Nicholas Sapp was sentenced to 18 months probation for misdemeanor assault on July 8.

Nemaha County sheriff deputies arrested Sapp after responding to a disturbance at a 19th Street apartment in Auburn.

An arrest affidavit says Sapp knocked on a door of an apartment and threatened to return  to  kill the family that lived there.

AUBURN – District Judge Julie Smith issued an arrest warrant Monday for 38-year-old Jarod Mowery after he failed to appear for sentencing on a possession conviction.

Nemaha County sheriff deputies arrested Mowery April 18 after conducting a search of his Auburn apartment. Deputies reported that multiple containers of meth were found in the apartment.
