NioCorps Plans Town Hall Meeting In Syracuse

NioCorp Developments has scheduled a town hall meeting forits Elk Creek Project Feasiblity Study on Friday, Sept. 8, at the Kimmel Ag Expo Center in Syracuse.

Advanced registration is required for the 6 p.m. meeting.

Representing NioCorp at the Town Hall Meeting will be the following: Mark A. Smith, NioCorp Executive Chairman and CEO; Scott Honan, President of Elk Creek Resources Corporation; and Jim Sims, NioCorp VP of External Affairs. NioCorp will present the details of the Project Feasibility Study and answer questions from participants.

A live webcast of the town hall meeting is also planned.
NioCorps also announced that Gov. Pete Ricketts has nominated the Elk Creek project to the White House as a “high priority national infrastructre project.

Rickett’s move was in response to an executive order entitled expediting environmental reviews and approvals.

The governor saud the super alloy project can help the U.S. produce American-made “super steels” for infrastructure projects across all 50 states.

“The project will establish the first-ever production in America of niobium, a metal that helps to make High Performance Steel (HPS).”
