No one injured when fire destroys home south of Blair

Fire destroyed a home Sunday south of Blair.

The homeowner was not there at the time, and no injuries were reported, said Joe Leonard, chief of the Blair Volunteer Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.

The fire at 9201 County Road 41 was called in at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Leonard said. The fire was well underway when firefighters arrived, he said.

Blair firefighters received help from the Kennard and Ponca Hills Volunteer Fire Departments.
