Peru State Earns 96 Awards In State Business Competition

PERU  – 36 Peru State College students competed in the 2017-2018 Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) State Leadership Conference. Peru State’s PBL chapter earned 96 top-eight awards including 16 first place finishes this year and four chapter awards.

24 students qualified for the national competition in Baltimore, MD., this June.

The Peru State chapter was recognized for largest membership and for gold level excellence.

Peru State College was recognized with the Overall Excellence Award in Business Partnerships. The Overall Excellence Award in Business Partnerships recognizes the top fundraising efforts of a local chapter to support the State Leadership Conference.
