Plattsmouth Considers Fiber Optics Franchise

PLATTSMOUTH – The Plattsmouth City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. on Aug. 6.

The agenda includes permits for the Plattsmouth Harvest Festival beer garden on Sept. 7 and 8, water treatment plant painting and a Spiral Communications franchise for broadband Internet.

Work orders are also proposed to provide fiber optics to the Masonic Home and a CenutryLink circuit for the US Navy.

The council will also consider a $493,000 bid to re-located utilities near Highway 75 from Wiles Road to Osage Ranch Boulevard.
