Plattsmouth Would Levy Nuisance Tax Against 11 Properties

NEBRASKA CITY – The Plattsmouth City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7.

The agenda includes an invoice for snow removal, water leak repairs on Oakmont Drive and a public hearing on a special tax assessments for nuisance abatements.

The city says $3,570 is owned for nuisance abatement on 11 properties.

An assessment is proposed against Mothership on south 15th Street, Donald Gottschalk on Avenue C, Lincoln Avenue, south 27th Street, south Ninth Street and 226 Main, Lonnie Palmer on Second Avenue, Productive Property Group on Avenue E and 805 Main, Mat Kochen on south Sixth Street, William Kasprzak on south Fifth Street, Kennin Colestock of Valley Street and Keith Christensen of Scott Street.

Plattsmouth Fire Chief Mike Wilson is scheduled to give the year-end fire department report.
