NEBRASKA CITY – The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office reports a head-on collision involving all-terrain vehicles.
A Suzuki QuadRacer driven by 33-year-old Justin King and a Polaris Razor driven by 38-year-old Frank Trombino collided on County Road O about seven miles south of Nebraska City.
Nebraska City Fire and Rescue transported King and 29-year-old Stephen Gillott of Murray to CHI Health St. Mary’s with serious injuries.
Witnesses told investigators that the ATV drivers probably did not see each other because of dust on the dirt road.
The sheriff’s office also reports a non-injury accident involving a state patrol crusier.
The cruiser, driven by 62-year-old Kent Kavan, backed into a KIA Sorento driven by Clifford Stukenholtz, 41,of Nebraska City on Highway 75 on Saturday.
