Police Say Falls City Men Were Threatened At Gunpoint

FALLS CITY – The Richardson County Attorney’s Office has obtained an arrest for a Kansas man accused of threatening Falls City residents with a handgun.

A warrant was issued Sept. 5 for 28-year-old Brendan Leonard of Basehor, Kan., based on a police investigation following an Aug. 24 disturbance on Lane Street.

Leonard is accused of assaulting Jeremy Butrick and threatening him with the gun and then pointing the gun at Clayton Butrick when he tried to step between the two.
